Traditional Craft by Master Ustin Borisov – Forged Over Generations
Crafted by Master Blacksmith Ustin, who has forged blades in his village for nearly 30 years, this knife embodies a deep legacy of skill and tradition. The blade is made from a reliable 440C steel analogue, known for its corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention.
The handle is fashioned from stabilized birch cap in a striking green tone, giving it both visual character and lasting durability. Melchior (nickel silver) is used for the guard and spacers, while a mammoth tusk segment, engraved with a national ornament, adds a unique historical and cultural touch behind the guard.
The sheath is made of genuine leather, stretched wet around a birch wood liner and hand-stitched with waxed thread, offering both rugged strength and artisanal finish.
A timeless piece that merges Siberian heritage with functional artistry.
