San-Mai Damascus Knife by Master Saryal Bilyukin
This exceptional blade is hand-forged by renowned bladesmith Saryal Bilyukin, whose craftsmanship is celebrated worldwide among knife collectors and enthusiasts. The knife features a San-Mai Damascus steel construction with an impressive 300-layer pattern, enriched with nickel for added contrast and resilience. The core and cladding are composed of a sophisticated blend of 1066, 52100, and W110 steels, delivering outstanding edge retention, toughness, and visual character.
The handle is a true work of art, crafted from stabilized birch burl (cap) and genuine mammoth bone, assembled with precision through fittings of Melchior, a corrosion-resistant nickel-bronze alloy. The guard is forged from Melchior and brass, offering both strength and elegance. A custom brass inlay bearing the maker’s mark is seamlessly integrated at the butt end, showcasing authenticity and heritage.
Accompanying the blade is a custom wet-molded leather sheath, reinforced internally with a traditional birch wood insert to ensure safety and structural integrity. The sheath features a natural leather belt loop, hand-stitched using durable thread for lasting quality and reliable everyday carry.
This knife is not just a tool—it's a collector's masterpiece, combining function, tradition, and artistry.
