He's an expert in forging D2 steel and is passionate about preserving the traditions and secrets of forging metal from the iron ore of the Sakha people. His knives were sold all over the world, showcasing his unparalleled craftsmanship. Alexander Danilov’s passion and skill have taught dozens of our young adults, ensuring that these traditional techniques live on.
The handle stays true to tradition, made from a birch cap in its natural form, prized for its strength and beautifully unique grain. A brass guard adds both function and timeless appeal.The sheath is a collaboration with a renowned artisan, crafted from bull’s tail leather wrapped around a birch wood liner. A striking detail sets it apart — one side is imprinted with bear footprints, adding a wild, symbolic decoration. The belt loops, made of horsehair, further root the knife in native Siberian tradition.
