Sakha Heritage Forged in Steel – By Ustin Borisov
This blade is hand-forged by master blacksmith Ustin Borisov, using a 440C steel analogue, and features the traditional groove characteristic of Sakha knives — a design passed down through generations.
The handle is crafted from stabilized birch cap, elegantly combined with mammoth bone, offering both durability and a striking, organic aesthetic. Melchior guards add a refined metallic contrast, ensuring strength and visual balance.
The sheath is handmade from genuine wet-formed leather, fitted over a dried Siberian birch liner, then hand-sewn with strong waxed thread for longevity. On its sides, you'll find the maker's mark and the coat of arms of the Sakha Republic, honoring regional pride and authenticity.
A knife that blends ancient materials, skilled craftsmanship, and Sakha cultural identity — built to be both used and treasured.
