Eagle of the North
Eagle of the North – Hand-Forged by Sergey Petrov
This knife is manually forged by master blacksmith Sergey Petrov, using a D2 steel analogue, trusted for its toughness and precision. It features the traditional groove of Sakha knives, sharpened on one side, embodying generations of functional design.
The handle is a striking blend of birch cap and mammoth bone, shaped not just for beauty, but for balance and grip. A master bone carver has sculpted the head of an eagle into the bone, stylized to flow seamlessly into the handle for ergonomic support. At the center, a mammoth bone maple leaf is inlaid into the birch — a delicate detail honoring nature and craftsmanship. The guard, also made of mammoth bone, is adorned with a traditional Sakha ornament.
The sheath is made using an ancient method, with bull’s tail leather wrapped around a liner of dried Siberian birch. Genuine leather loops allow for secure belt carry, staying true to both utility and heritage.
A knife that soars with the symbolism of the eagle, rooted in the earth with ancient materials and timeless tradition — crafted for those who value meaning in every detail.
